BVCA and 10,000 Interns Foundation

About 10,000 Interns Foundation

The 10,000 Interns Foundation challenges the under-representation of Black talent in the workplace; creating equity of opportunity through its internship programme, and equity of experience in the workplace for minoritised candidates through its wraparound support including training and mentoring.

By the end of Summer 2024, 7,000 young people will have found paid opportunities through the Foundation's programme.

Proposed principles and objectives

  • The BVCA supports the 10,000 Interns Foundation, as its sole umbrella charity for events, by raising awareness of its work to the private equity and venture capital industry.
  • Through the support of the BVCA and greater awareness generated within the industry, the 10,000 Interns Foundation will benefit from the opportunity to foster new partnerships, supporters and donors from within the industry.
  • With the support of the BVCA and wider private equity and venture capital industry, the 10,000 Interns Foundation will be in a stronger position to fulfil its mission to champion underrepresented talent and promote equity of opportunity.
